Arrivals And Departures
You may Check in from 16:00. We operate a self-check in system, where you will have received a code on the day of your arrival via e-mail, to access the key to your Pod.
On your day of departure, we ask that you vacate by 10:00 and deposit your key in the key drop box as you exit the site.
Booking And Payment
We request full payment when booking via our website. Receipt of the payment secures your booking.
Occupancy
Our pods sleep up to 4 people, however we can provide a travel cot upon request (subject to availability).
We can occasionally accommodate tents alongside your pod, but this is strictly at the discretion of the site manager. Please contact Gwlad Glamping on 01554 890840 to discuss this option.
Only registered guests are allowed on the premises. We do not allow guests to invite visitors here as this is out of compliance with the fire management protocol and insurance. This also ensures the glamping site remains a peaceful place for everyone.
Children
There are many opportunities for play and adventure on our site. Our aim is for children to have a truly enriching experience of space and freedom. Gwlad Glamping is part of a complex that incorporates a working farm and a conferencing centre. There are contingent risks to be aware of including a variety of animals and farming machinery which may be in use. Any further questions, please ask!
Gwlad Glamping accepts no responsibility for injury incurred on site.
Supervision of children is essential at all times.
Please be aware of barbed wire on paddock fencing.
Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children on site at all times.
Dogs
Dogs must be kept securely on a lead in all public areas on the site. Please also close the gate surrounding your decked area to ensure that your dog does not roam unattended on the grounds of the site. Be vigilant that if you have a particularly bouncy dog that they are not able to jump the fence around your pod.
Do not enter any fields that have livestock with your dog.
We ask that you clean muddy paws before they enter the pods and ensure that muddy dogs do not lie on the beds or other soft furnishings. There are water taps outside each pod (at the back of the pod).
Dogs are not permitted to join their owners in the hot-tub.
When using the grounds or surrounding areas, please use a dog poo bag for any fouling. Should you run out, bags are available to purchase at CJBC reception. There is a dog waste bin located in the refuse area. Please use this to dispose of any dog waste.
Use of the dog adventure parks are by means of bookings only. Please book your slot via the website.
Hot-tub Usage
We have a safe operating procedure document located in the pods which have hot tubs. Guests must adhere to the rules and regulations stated in this document at all times. Gwlad Glamping cannot be held responsible for your safety whilst you are using the hot tub. Use is strictly at your own risk.
Quiet Time
Guests choose our Glamping Site and visit time and time again because it is small, family-friendly and for the quiet enjoyment of nature. It’s important that all guests feel relaxed and enjoy a good night’s sleep ready for exploring the fantastic coast and countryside. Quiet Time is from 10pm as general noise or loud talking can disturb other people. Therefore, be prepared to respect requests from other glampers if you are disturbing them.
Guests are requested to always conduct themselves appropriately and to comply with procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for the property of the site, its employees and guests and their health and safety.
We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the site if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case, we shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expenses incurred.
Fire Safety, Camp fires and BBQ
No naked flames, candles or incense may be burnt inside the pod or within the decking area.
For your own safety, a purpose-built fire pit with seating is available for your use in the communal area. Logs and kindling will be available to buy from Parc y Bocs farm shop. Fires outside of these parameters are not permitted.
Disposable BBQs are not allowed on site due to the fire risk. A communal BBQ can be found within the communal area (weather permitting).
Do not leave your campfire or barbecue unattended and think carefully about whether to light a fire if it is windy. Supervise the fire until it extinguishes naturally. DO NOT pour water on fire pits as this cracks the hot metal. DO NOT dispose of charred logs into the hedge or ash in the hedgerows as this poses a risk to wildlife. There are fire buckets and fire blankets on site. Please ensure children are supervised at all times.
NO FIREWORKS OR LANTERNS.
Each pod is equipped with a fire blanket. Fire extinguishers are located within a fire cabinet on the grounds of the site (between Daisy & Violet). A rotary alarm can also be found here, to raise awareness of any dangerous fires. Please dial 999 in the case of any emergencies. Assemble in the Assembly Point, located in the Gwlad Glamping car park. Please also make us aware by contacting us on 07506 680787. Full instructions can be found inside each pod.
Animal Welfare
Gwlad Glamping is a working farm, we currently stock sheep, alpacas and poultry. For our animals safety they must be fenced into their own field. Please help us to keep them safe, do not climb on to any fencing or venture into any locked fields.
Please do not feed the animals as they may become ill if fed something they are not used to eating and be aware they may bite or cause injury.
You may be lucky enough to get a glimpse of badgers and foxes at night-time, however we request that all food is suitably stored to avoid scavenging.
Please avoid the temptation of feeding the wildlife.
Recycling And Refuse
A condition of staying here is that you separate glass, cans, plastic, paper, cardboard etc. placing them in the special bins provided. What is left, ie. anything that is not recyclable can be placed in the general waste bin. We want you to visit our beautiful area and leave as small a footprint on nature as possible. Recycling is a fundamental role for all of us and is a key part of everyone’s stay. Each pod is equipped with a recycling bin, a food waste bin and a general waste bin. Please empty these bins upon departure and take them to the refuse area. A glass bin and a dog waste bin can also be located in the refuse area. Do not leave litter anywhere on site and never leave food or rubbish outside your accommodation. Please use the appropriate bins provided in the refuse area near the glamping car park.
