There is no better place to take your dog on holiday than the Carmarthenshire coast, with so many dog-friendly activities on offer, they’re sure to have the time of their lives!
Whilst we’re thrilled that you’ve decided to bring your four legged friend along on your stay, we do have a dog policy that we kindly ask you to adhere to.
- We ask that you clean muddy paws before they enter the pods and ensure that muddy dogs do not lie on the beds or other soft furnishings (there are water taps outside each pod).
- Dogs must be kept securely on a lead in all public areas on the site. Please also close the gate surrounding your decked area to ensure that your dog does not roam unattended on the grounds of the site. Be vigilant that if you have a particularly bouncy dog that they are not able to jump the fence around your pod.
- Dogs are not permitted to join their owners in the hot-tub.
- When using the grounds or surrounding areas, please use a dog poo bag for any fouling. Should you run out, bags are available to purchase at the Canolfan John Burns Centre reception. There is a specified bin for dog waste in the refuse area (near the Gwlad Glamping car park).
All dogs who stay with us will receive a Burns goodie pack full of treats. Food and water bowls are provided. Please bring your own dog bedding.
DOG ADVENTURE PARK
During your stay why not treat your dog to some off lead time in one of our fantastic dog adventure parks on site?
With two enclosed areas available to book exclusively for use on your own, with friends and up to 5 dogs, our Dog Adventure Park is perfect for stress-free off-lead exercising, safe recall practice and sensory play.
A wide range of enrichment activities are provided for use, including digging zones, climbing equipment, sniffing areas and textured surfaces to enhance your dogs physical and mental well-being. Give your dog a unique sensory experience by exploring our holistic plant area, including a range of beneficial plants for your dog to self-select and enjoy.
All proceeds from dog park bookings go to help support The John Burns Foundation to run charitable projects in our community and beyond.
